Eighty-two dollars and fifty cents was the average price per acre paid by John E. Benson of Mead, for an 80 acre farm in the Silver Creek valley east of Wahoo and west of Mead.  The land was sold by Edwin Otto, administrator.  The prices paid seems to indicate an upward trend to land values here.
